UCLA coach Jim Mora said he will continue to support Myles Jack as he pursues the NFL, but called it "risky" to leave after playing in just three games as a junior. Here is a more of what the former NFL coach told reporters Tuesday: "Having been on that side, there’s going to be a lot of speculation as to what he is and where he fits. And as I told Myles on Sunday, NFL teams are very, very conservative and if there’s any question whatsoever, they’ll pass on you in heartbeat. They’re going to take the sure thing and I explained that to him, but I feel like they already made their decision and so, like I said, I hope it works out the best for him, but I, as a guy that spent half of my life in the NFL, I would move with great caution."

Swinney: Watson is our heart and soul

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney says QB Deshaun Watson is the key to Clemson's success going forward. "I can't say enough good things about him."

Today, Jim Mora said Myles Jack is pushing his chips in middle and he hopes he draws a good hand. I think Myles Jack is a sure winner.

Myles Jack to enter 2016 NFL draft

The UCLA LB injured for the season is withdrawing from school, Bruins coach Jim Mora said Tuesday. "He's taking his chips and shoving them into the middle, and we hope he draws a good hand," Mora said, according to the Orange County Register.

FSU DB back 2 years after stomach rupture

Jared Shanker writes: "Trey Marshall was pleading with doctors to sedate him. Minutes earlier he had been wildly swinging at trainers and biting his coach’s collar as he laid on a HS football field in Tallahassee. Now, he just wanted relief from the intense pain in his stomach. Doctors told Marshall’s mother the stomach 'literally burst like a balloon.'" Long road back

Minnesota coach Jerry Kill says his QB situation will be settled this week in practice. True freshman Demry Croft replaced Mitch Leidner in the second half of last week's shutout loss to Northwestern.

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz appears to have become more of a risk-taker, especially with his fourth-down gambles. But Ferentz laughed off what he calls "the legend of the new Kirk." He says, "We've been doing some of those things for a couple of years. If you win a few more games, everything looks a little better."

Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said he doesn't think the loss of Pat Narduzzi has affected his team's defense this year. He said new co-coordinators Mike Tressel and Harlon Barnett have done a great job. "The bottom line is, players make plays."

Kyle Bonagura ESPN Staff Writer

UCLA junior linebacker Myles Jack has withdrawn from school and will make himself available in the 2016 NFL draft, UCLA coach Jim Mora told reporters Tuesday. The announcement shouldn't come as much of a surprise considering Jack's season came to an end fewer than two weeks ago as a result of a torn meniscus he suffered in practice. The injury was expected to sideline him for 4-to-6 months. Before the injury, ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. had him at No. 12 on his Big Board of draft-eligible players.

South Carolina may move LSU game

AD Ray Tanner said there's been discussions about moving Saturday's game to LSU due to flooding: "Our intentions are to stay on schedule and play here in Columbia but it's not a definite." Williams-Brice Stadium is fine but there's concern for the fans. A decision will be made in 24-36 hours.

Fournette's path to SEC best season

Assuming LSU plays a 12-game schedule, Leonard Fournette would have to average 128.4 yards per game over the remaining eight games to top Herschel Walker’s SEC season record (1,891 rush yards). He’d need 220.5 yards/game to tie Barry Sanders’ FBS record (2,628 in 1988). Can he do it?
