Urban Meyer said he left a message for his "very good friend" Steve Spurrier this morning after he read about his decision to resign at South Carolina. From one Florida coach to another, Meyer said the "sport is going to miss him." "I've got a million Coach Spurrier stories, but we don't have time for them all. They're all good, though."

Indiana coach Kevin Wilson says that QB Nate Sudfeld and RB Jordan Howard have both practiced this week, but not sure if they'll play Saturday. "We'll see," Wilson said. "They're getting good work."
