Dampier returns to Mavericks' lineup

DALLAS -- Dallas Mavericks center Erick Dampier played Monday night after missing the last eight games with an undisclosed medical condition.

Dampier was rushed to a Michigan hospital in an ambulance after feeling symptoms while warming up for the Mavericks' Nov. 15 game against the Detroit Pistons. He stayed in the hospital overnight, although the symptoms subsided that night, and returned to Dallas for a series of medical tests.
