Rangers, INF Greene finalizing contract

Free-agent utility infielder Khalil Greene passed his physical Wednesday, but the Texas Rangers are still finalizing the details of his contract, according to a source.

An official announcement of his signing could come in the next few days or early next week.

The two sides agreed to terms on a one-year, $750,000 contract last weekend, according to a source. Greene, 30, would become the club's utility infielder, replacing Omar Vizquel.
