Potts, Sheffield to compete for QB job

DALLAS -- New Texas Tech coach Tommy Tuberville, not a fan of alternating quarterbacks, will let seniors Taylor Potts and Steven Sheffield compete for the starting job before choosing one to lead the offense for the 2010 season.
