Hamilton plans to skip Home Run Derby

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton told Dallas radio station ESPN 103.3 FM on Tuesday that he's not planning to participate in the Home Run Derby at this year's All-Star Game.

"I ain't going to mess with it this year if I get voted in," Hamilton said about the Home Run Derby during an interview with Galloway & Company, adding that he'd already talked to his wife about it.
