Third hamstring injury for Nelson Cruz

The Texas Rangers placed outfielder Nelson Cruz on the 15-day disabled list Monday with a strained left hamstring.

Infielder Joaquin Arias, who was put on the DL last month with a muscle strain in his back, will be activated and in uniform Monday night against Tampa Bay to take Cruz's place on the roster.
