Marc Colombo has knee cleaned out

OXNARD, Calif. -- Dallas Cowboys right tackle Marc Colombo had surgery Monday to clean out loose particles in his right knee.

Owner/general manager Jerry Jones expressed confidence that Colombo would be prepared to play in the Sept. 12 season opener against the Washington Redskins.
