Owner healing from shoulder surgery

OXNARD, Calif. -- Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Monday that the surgery he had last month was to repair a right rotator cuff that has been bothering him since the ninth grade.

Jones told ESPNDallas.com on Sunday he was recovering well from a June 20 surgery, but he wouldn't specify the reason for the surgery except to say it wasn't anything life-threatening or heart-related.
