Rangers' C.J. Wilson leaves with blister

SAN FRANCISCO -- Texas Rangers pitcher C.J. Wilson left Game 2 of the World Series after one batter in the seventh inning because of a blister on his left middle finger.

The left-hander was locked in a pitcher's duel with San Francisco Giants right-hander Matt Cain. Wilson made one mistake in the bottom of the fifth inning, a high fastball that Edgar Renteria cranked over the left-field wall for a 1-0 lead.

It stayed that way into the seventh when Wilson gave up a lead-off walk. ...
