Josh Hamilton, Elvis Andrus leave loss
Hamilton had X-rays on the ribs and they were negative. He's listed as day-to-day, but manager Ron Washington said after the game that Hamilton won't play Sunday and is unlikely to play in Monday's day game in Toronto, either.

The same goes for shortstop Elvis Andrus, who left in the fourth inning with a tight right hamstring. He likely won't play the next two days, as he has been dealing with hamstring issues recently.
Hamilton went back to catch Delmon Young's fly ball in the third and landed against the wall. Washington and athletic trainer Jamie Reed went out to the outfield to check on Hamilton, and he stayed in the game at that point. But he was lifted two innings later.
It's been a difficult injury week for Hamilton. Last Sunday, he felt pain in his right knee as he played against the Oakland Athletics. He was moved to designated hitter Monday and Tuesday in Kansas City and then had a shot of Synvisc, a lubricant designed to relieve inflammation, after Tuesday's game.
He was given Wednesday off and was the DH on Friday in Minnesota. But late in Friday's game, Hamilton came out after a joint in his lower back "locked up" on him. He had it adjusted and felt good enough to play Saturday in the outfield.
That didn't last long after his ribs took a shot against the wall.
"It was like last year in Toronto, when my arm hit the wall and went into my ribs," Hamilton said. "I'm day-to-day right now. That's the way it's going to be. It will just depend on how I feel each day."
After that play against the wall last year in Toronto, Hamilton had to go on the disabled list. The Rangers will monitor him carefully to make sure he's healthy but also in a position to help them as they attempt to clinch a playoff berth.
Andrus, who just turned 22 last month, has missed just six games this season and all were because the club wanted to get him a day off. He does not have a history of hamstring issues.
The shortstop is hitting .276 with no homers and 33 RBI.
