IRVING, Texas -- The Texas Rangers have a new radio home as ESPN 103.3 FM and 1540 AM ESPN Deportes have acquired the exclusive English and Spanish play-by-play broadcasting rights starting with the 2011 season, it was announced Tuesday.

The four-year agreement includes all Rangers regular season and postseason games as well as select spring training games.

"We are very pleased to enter into this long-term radio agreement with ESPN and ESPN Deportes," Rangers managing partner and CEO Chuck Greenberg said. "Our partnership with ESPN will be an important element as we expand the Rangers brand locally, regionally and nationally. We look forward to a long and productive relationship."

The Rangers radio team of play-by-play broadcaster Eric Nadel and analyst Dave Barnett will call all the action. Eleno Ornelas will handle the play-by-play for the Spanish broadcast team.

Both stations will supplement the game coverage with live pregame and postgame on-site reports as well as Rangers-themed daily programming featuring interviews with players, coaches and front office personnel. Details of these initiatives will be released on ESPNDallas.com prior to the start of the season.

"We are excited that the Texas Rangers are moving to 103.3 ESPN and 1540 AM ESPN Deportes," Rangers president Nolan Ryan said. "The identification with ESPN and the promotion and programming the Rangers will be receiving on the two stations will be extremely beneficial to the club. I welcome ESPN as a Texas Rangers partner."

The Rangers are coming off the best season in franchise history. After winning 90 games and the AL West title for the first time since 1999, the Rangers won their first playoff series -- the ALDS against the Tampa Bay Rays -- behind a phenomenal showing from Cliff Lee, who was acquired in a major trade in early July.

The Rangers then beat the New York Yankees in the ALCS in six games, securing the club's first American League pennant at home in front of a record crowd of more than 50,000.

The Rangers continue to work this offseason to add to a winning club with the hopes of returning to the World Series in the team's quest to win its first world championship.

"With the addition of the Texas Rangers, we have solidified our position as the go-to play-by-play station for the Dallas/Fort Worth sports fan," said Tom Lee, program director for 103.3 ESPN and 1540 AM ESPN Deportes. "The Rangers now join the Dallas Mavericks, the BCS National Championship Game, the Rose Bowl, the Cotton Bowl, NCAA's March Madness, FC Dallas and more as the fans' home for radio play-by-play coverage."
