Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has contributed $20,000 to the reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the beating and rape of a woman who had been at a Dallas bar to watch the team win the NBA championship, multiple media outlets are reporting.

The fund already had raised $15,000, according to MyFoxDFW.com.

The woman was attacked June 13 while walking to her car from J Black's Feel Good Lounge on Henderson Avenue after watching the Mavs win Game 6.

She was beaten, raped and left for dead, police told Fox 4 News.

"She was like every other Mavs fan, out watching the game and celebrating in Dallas," a friend of the woman told the station. "She just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time that night. It could have happened to any woman in Dallas."

According to the Fox report, police are awaiting DNA results to see if there is a match in the criminal database.
