Texas guard J'Covan Brown is "ready to go" for Monday night's game against Oklahoma, Longhorns coach Rick Barnes said Monday.

Brown was immobilized and carried off the court Saturday after hitting the back of his head on a hard fall in Texas' 74-58 loss at Texas A&M. He was taken to a College Station hospital but was later released with what team trainer Eric Fry called a "neck strain."

Texas (22-7), ranked No. 25 in the latest ESPN/USA Today coaches poll, has lost seven of its last 12 games. The Longhorns already have lost guards Varez Ward and Dogus Balbay for the season with injuries.
