Baylor and Texas Tech will play each other at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, sometime during the 2011 season, Bears coach Art Briles said Wednesday in a press release.

The exact date will be determined later by the Big 12 Conference along with its television partners, according to the release.

"Playing this game in Cowboys Stadium is great for our players, our university and our fans," Briles said. "There isn't a better football stadium in America."

The 2011 contest will mark the third straight season featuring a Baylor-Texas Tech game at a neutral site, though Baylor is designated the home team in the latest installment of the series. Texas Tech has won the previous two encounters, 20-13 at Cowboys Stadium in 2009 and 45-38 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas last year.

Among the other college games scheduled at next season at the Dallas Cowboys' home are LSU vs. Oregon on Sept. 3 and BYU vs. TCU on Oct. 28.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
