IRVING -- Cowboys backup running back Felix Jones will not play in Sunday's game at Kansas City with a sprained left knee, according to a source.
Jones missed last week's game at Denver with a sprained left posterior cruciate ligament, suffered Sept. 28 vs. Carolina.
The Cowboys are expected to start Marion Barber on Sunday with Tashard Choice as the backup against the Chiefs.
In his two-year career, Jones has missed 11 out of a possible 20 games due to injuries. The Cowboys' trainers have a goal of getting Jones ready for the Oct. 25 game vs. Atlanta.
