The grades are in, and it's time to tell you who performed well on defense and special teams for the Cowboys during the 2009 season. There were the usual high grades for DeMarcus Ware and Jay Ratliff, but a few players dropped -- much like what happened when we graded the Cowboys offense on Tuesday.
Shaun Suisham replaced Nick Folk as the kicker, but he might not return after missing two field goal attempts in the playoff loss to Minnesota. He did not play in enough games to get graded. Jason Williams, the third-round pick of the 2009 draft, also was not graded after he missed the first three games with an ankle injury and was inactive for eight more games. Cletis Gordon, Michael Hamlin and Curtis Johnson were not graded as well.
Report Card: The final grades for the Cowboys' defense and special teams.
