FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- The Dallas Cowboys, still trying to find an answer to their field goal kicking woes, signed Connor Hughes to their reserve future list Monday.

Hughes tried out for the team in December 2009 when the team was looking for a replacement for kicker Nick Folk. The Cowboys signed Shaun Suisham, but his two misses in the playoff loss to the Minnesota Vikings raises concerns about a return to the roster.

Suisham is a restricted free agent.

Hughes originally signed with New Orleans as an undrafted free agent in 2006 and spent training camp with the Saints. He also had stints with the Pittsburgh Steelers and kicked for the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League in 2008.
