Cowboys' Dez Bryant nets $1M bonus
The terms of Bryant's contract say he must play at least 35 percent of the offensive snaps and reach one of several clauses in his contract to become eligible for the bonus. Some of the clauses were that he needed to catch at least 41 or more receptions, pick up 801 or more receiving yards or get 12 or more touchdowns.
Bryant has played in more than 35 percent of the offensive plays and he finished the season with 45 catches.
By reaching at least two of these clauses, Bryant also triggered another clause in his contract for 2012, which makes him eligible for another roster bonus that's worth $1.4 million.
With his season over, Bryant had eight touchdowns, six receiving and two on special teams, plus he was third on the team in yards per catch with 12.5. He had 561 receiving yards.
