DALLAS -- Stars defenseman Karlis Skrastins cut his right index finger on a skate and left Thursday's game against Anaheim in the third period. Stars officials said the cut is almost to the bone and Skrastins will be evaluated further on Friday.
If Skrastins can't play on Saturday afternoon against Edmonton, Jeff Woywitka, a healthy scratch on Thursday, could take his place.
Skrastins has five assists and is minus-7 this season. He leads the team in blocked shots with 63.
