FRISCO, Texas -- The Dallas Stars signed center Tom Wandell to a two-year contract extension worth $1.55 million Thursday.

Wandell, 23, played in 50 games for the Stars this season before tearing his ACL on Jan. 21. He had five goals -- three game-winners -- and 10 assists before the injury.

The Stars also recalled goaltender Matt Climie from the Texas Stars of the AHL, where he was 21-16-3 in 42 appearances. He got called up by Dallas earlier this season for two games as a backup.
