Dallas Stars defenseman Stephane Robidas has been automatically suspended one game for being assessed his second game misconduct within 41 games in the boarding/checking-from-behind category.

As a result, Robidas will miss Thursday's contest against the Los Angeles Kings.

Robidas was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct for boarding Tuesday night after a hit on Anaheim's Matt Beleskey in the third period.

On March 16, Robidas was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct for boarding Ryane Clowe of the San Jose Sharks.

The Stars will have six defensemen still on the roster for Thursday's game but do have the option of calling up a defenseman like Philip Larsen from the Texas Stars of the AHL.
