Dallas Stars defenseman Mark Fistric (groin) and forward Krys Barch (foot) both are out for Friday night's game against the St. Louis Blues at American Airlines Center.

Fistric, who was injured in a practice on Tuesday, was put on injured reserve Friday afternoon with what the team called a lower-body injury.

The Stars will go with Jeff Woywitka again and Severin Blindenbacher, called up from earlier in the week, will be a healthy scratch.

Barch was injured in Wednesday's game against Ottawa. X-rays on his foot were negative.

"He tried this morning before we went out for our skate but he couldn't put any pressure on his foot," Stars coach Marc Crawford said. "It will be a case where he is out until the pain subsides. They've done all the X-rays and all the other sorts of things, and it is just a bruise. He could be ready as early as tomorrow or he might need a few days."

Crawford said he wasn't sure if the Stars would call up a forward, but they would go with their 12 healthy forwards Friday night. That means Brian Sutherby will be back in the lineup.

Kari Lehtonen gets the start in goal Friday. Crawford said he'll make a decision on Saturday's starter either after Friday's game or on Saturday.
