The Cowboys didn't get proper value from the 49ers when they traded down (unless you're looking at Jerry's mystery chart) despite the fact they traded with a team with a boatload of picks. They reached on their No. 1 selection and the display at the podium after the first round was comical.
• Things apparently got animated in the Cowboys' war room and body language experts say the scouts and Jason Garrett didn't appear to be happy. Fitzsimmons & Durrett discuss all the chaos from the opening day of the draft and open up the lines to callers.
• For years we've heard that the Cowboys had zero hope until Jerry was no longer running the show, but yesterday may've been the Stephen Jones coming out party and he sounds a lot like his rambling daddy.

• Jerry said what? Cowboys fans have been through a lot, but is this the straw that broke the camel's back? Fitzsimmons & Durrett revisit Jerry's rambling after yesterday's first round, much to the discuss of Durrett. Jerry said he views defensive line as a strength, which Ian finds comical.
• Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema, who coached Travis Frederick at Wisconsin, joins Fitzsimmons & Durrett to let Cowboys fans know what kind of player they got in Frederick, what he expects to see from him at the next level and how nasty he is.
