• At the end of a sobering week in sports, Marc Stein and Steve Davis open this live edition of Soccer Today from Copa ESPN at the McKinnish Soccer Complex in Carrollton by talking about the New England Revolution and the heavy emotions involved in playing a game just days after the Boston Marathon bombings.
• Mark Followill, TV voice of both the Dallas Mavericks and FC Dallas, joins the guys by phone to talk about FCD's latest victory in a 6-1-1 start that has the local side sitting atop the Western Conference by eight points ahead of the Los Angeles Galaxy ... though L.A. has two games in hand.
• Wigan Athletic defender Emmerson Boyce returns to the show to talk about Wigan's magical ride to the FA Cup final for the first time in club history -- setting up a May 11 showdown at Wembley against Stein's beloved Manchester City -- but also the Latics' serious struggles to pull themselves out of the bottom three in the Premiership to make sure they stay in the league.
• The boys look ahead to the week's big semifinal matchups in the Champions League (Bayern Munich vs. Barcelona, then Borussia Dortmund vs. Real Madrid) and assess what factors still make the Premiership watchable when Manchester United has all but clinched the championship already.
