Updating the injury news from my previous entry:

• Milwaukee's Jeremy Jeffress reportedly was just suffering from fatigue and not a health issue. Apparently, he just didn't recover from his previous side session very well, and had been moved up a day to get him on schedule to pitch in the Rising Stars showcase tomorrow, so that may have been part of it. For now, there appears to be no long-term concern, and he will be pitching again at the AFL.

• Brewers third baseman Taylor Green suffered a broken nose, but there was no damage to his orbital bone or anything like that, so that is good news. Things could have been a lot worse.

• White Sox outfielder Stefan Gartrell suffered a third-degree shoulder separation when he hit the ground diving for a fly ball, and though it is expected that his AFL season is over, he has not been ruled out to return sometime in November.
