The Mets have been talking with the Rockies about a deal involving Aaron Heilman, Huston Street and others.
• Kerry Wood appears to be headed to either Cleveland or Texas, likely for two years and $12 million-$14 million.
• Brian Fuentes' options include the Angels and Cardinals.
• The Mariners need a power hitter. The Brewers need a closer. There is speculation that the two teams are discussing a package involving J.J. Putz and Prince Fielder.
