GLENDALE, Ariz. -- This game certainly is at Connecticut's pace early on. The Huskies have been able to settle in to their half-court offense with regularity, and though disrupted by the Missouri pressure, they haven't been frazzled by it. They've committed just three turnovers and hit 11 of their first 15 shots.
But Missouri isn't going away. The Tigers are getting some decent looks but just aren't hitting them. They also do look a little skittish going into the lane. DeMarre Carroll had a nice look at the hoop but lofted a short floater, clearly worried about Hasheem Thabeet.
