DETROIT -- Bizarre, that's my first impression of this court setup. My courtside view, certainly better than most everyone else's in Ford Field, is nonetheless odd.
It's not just that I'm staring at player's sneakers. It's hard to tell where exactly the court ends. It's like one of those endless pools that seemingly flow into the horizon.
Apparently I'm not the only one who found the configuration strange. On Friday, CBS eyed its setup and requested to have its seats elevated. The NCAA agreed, but had to do a mad press row scramble since a handful of reporters would have nothing to see but Jim Nantz and Clark Kellogg's blazers.
