LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Forget that earlier thought about this turning into a slugfest.

So far, the Louisville-Middle Tennessee State game has been a pitchers' duel, and the Blue Raiders have the upper hand.

The host Cardinals finally got on the board in the sixth inning on doubles by Scott Richmond and Andrew Clark. But Bryce Brentz limited the damage to just one run, and Middle Tennessee is clinging to a 2-1 lead heading to the seventh.

The difference right now is an RBI single from Stuart Meinhart, who's having quite a weekend. He hit a grand slam in Friday's win over Vanderbilt, which awaits the loser of this game tomorrow.
