BATON ROUGE, La. -- The Tigers' fans are getting rowdy, and they've got good reason.
Rice's pitching is starting to falter, and that's where college games are won and lost. Mike Ojala, who let his curve ball slip and has hit his second batter in as many innings, was replaced by Taylor Wall here in the bottom of the fifth. And Wall just gave up a huge three-run home run on a fastball to Ryan Schimpf. LSU just took the lead 5-4 and has successfully redeemed itself after a rocky start.
LSU has seven hits, four of which have come in this inning. (I can't type fast enough to keep up with LSU's offense now). The momentum clearly has shifted, and LSU's bats are hot.
