In the past 24 hours or so, the Big Ten has added commitments from two Under Armour All-Americans.

On Tuesday, wide receiver James Louis (Delray Beach, Fla./Atlantic) became Ohio State commitment No. 10 when he selected the Buckeyes over a list of over 30 scholarship offers including Florida State, LSU, Georgia and Virginia Tech.

The 5-foot-11 and 180-pound Louis caught 32 passes his sophomore year for 420 yards and five touchdowns. He had a huge junior season catching 58 passes for 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Louis' commitment to the Buckeyes was followed today by defensive end/linebacker Dakota Royer's (Manheim, Pa./Central) commitment to Penn State. Royer had more than two dozen scholarship offers before narrowing things down to Penn State, Pitt, Notre Dame, Michigan State and Oregon, and subsequently selecting the Nittany Lions.

The 6-foot-3 and 220-pound Royer made 86 tackles including 11 sacks during his junior season. He is commitment No. 15 for Penn State boss Joe Paterno.

The top three recruiting classes in the Big Ten at this point are Penn State, Ohio State and Michigan, and the Nittany Lions and Buckeyes have definitely landed key additions in Royer and Louis. Both have "impact" potential at the next level.

Ware bypasses Big Ten

On the other hand, one Midwest star who has opted to head south is Spencer Ware (Cincinnati, Ohio/Princeton). Ware committed to LSU over scholarship offers from Ohio State, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa and many others.

The 5-foot-11 and 210-pound Ware, who plays quarterback for Princeton, will move to running back when he gets to LSU. Ware had a top three of LSU, Ohio State and North Carolina before selecting LSU.

Talbot's impressed with Michigan
Terry and Terrence Talbot (Huber Heights, Ohio/Wayne) visited Michigan on Wednesday. The two brothers arrived in Ann Arbor having already been offered a scholarship by the Wolverines.

"We made it up there," Terrence said. "I loved it. We worked out at a little camp they had. I was with my position coach and Terry was with his position coach. We got a tour and talked to coach [Rich] Rodriguez too."

The 5-foot-10 and 170-pound Terrence, a cornerback, made 35 tackles and intercepted three passes during his junior season. Terry, a defensive tackle, made 50 plus tackles including five sacks his junior season. Both Terrence and Terry have over a dozen scholarship offers including Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois and Kentucky.

When asked who his favorite is, Terrence said, "It's between Michigan and Wisconsin. That is for right now. But I haven't been to many other places. I'm still open."
