Tight end Justin Favors (Trotwood, Ohio/Madison) has added a scholarship offer from Ohio University and now has a half dozen offers on the table. In addition to the Bobcats, Favors has offers from Colorado, Syracuse, Toledo, Kent State and Bowling Green.

"I haven't visited any of them yet except Bowling Green," Favors said. "I'll do official visits during the season or after it."

Favors said he is considering all six of the schools that have offered as well as a handful of others.

"Wisconsin, Cincinnati and Oklahoma. I'm interested in those schools," Favors said. "I'd like to go to Wisconsin. Their tight ends coach told me about their academics and how they use the tight end. Their tight ends catch 50 or 60 passes each year."

However, the two schools at the top of Favors' list have offered him a scholarship.

"My two favorite schools are Colorado and Syracuse," Favors said. "Those two are about even."

QB favors MAC school

Quarterback Dwight Macon (Steubenville, Ohio) has scholarship offers from Kansas State, Wyoming, Ball State, Toledo, Kansas, Bowling Green and Central Michigan.

"Basically I'm looking at Ball State, Toledo and Central Michigan," Macon said. "And I'm kind of looking at Bowling Green too."

Macon plans to make an official visit to Ball State sometime in September. However, it is another MAC school that sits at the top of his list.

"I'm leaning towards Toledo a little," Macon said. "I know most of their coaching staff pretty well. And Toledo is only a couple hours or so away."

The 6-foot, 190-pounder passed for close to 2,500 yards and 28 touchdowns with just four interceptions during his junior season. He also rushed for over 900 yards and scored 16 times.
