• There have been 40 games in postseason history with a final score of 1-0. The last was Game 4 of the 2005 World Series: White Sox 1, Astros 0.

• There have been 10 games in postseason history with a 1-0 final score, in which the only run came on a homer. The last was Game 3 of the 2001 ALDS (the Derek Jeter flip-play game) in which the Yankees beat the Athletics, 1-0, on a Jorge Posada homer.

• The last 1-0 postseason game involving either the Phillies or Dodgers:

    1983 NLCS: Phillies won Game 1 on a first-inning homer by Mike Schmidt.
