• Right-hander Joe Blanton, who led the Phillies in innings pitched (195.1) and quality starts (21) this season, will be making his seventh career postseason appearance and fourth start. He is 2-0 with a 3.18 ERA in 22 2/3 innings in the postseason.

• Dodgers lefty Randy Wolf will be making his second career postseason appearance. On Oct. 7, in NLDS Game 1 against the Cardinals, Wolf lasted only 3 2/3 innings. He gave up two runs on six hits and walked five.
