Angels starter Jered Weaver, who hadn't allowed more than two homers in a game all season, has given up long balls to Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez and Johnny Damon in the first five innings today. After the Damon homer, Darren Oliver began throwing in the Angels' bullpen.

Andy Pettitte's pickoff of Torii Hunter in the bottom of the fourth sucked the life out of Angels Stadium, and the Yankees quickly took advantage, as good teams do.
