Four people play the game at one time in two teams of two persons each. The two person teams position themselves behind the opponent's basket, side by side at same end of the game table, opposite their opponents. Each player receives 25 tokens that he/she may place on the board or retain in his/her possession. Players must remain behind an imaginary line that is parallel to the edge of the game board behind the opponent' basket.

To begin play, a referee activates the lighted timing device that defines the period of play. The lights trace around the board for 45 seconds serving as the clock for one period of play. Four periods are played for a total for 3 minutes of play per game. The object of the game is to obtain the highest score measured by the number of times the token successfully passes through the net cup. A team receives one point for every successful basket. Thrown tokens can be retrieved and reused. Either the team members or the referee can push tokens back toward the players. After the initial 25 tokens have been given to each team member any number of tokens may be on the board or in play. If at any time, a player doesn't have a token to play, the game is stopped, that period of play is deemed null and void and the score from that period is eliminated from the total.

The team with the highest combined score at the end of the 4 periods wins the game. The winners then go on to the next round of play or are declared The Champions.
