Best hockey season ever: Just ended.

Best aspect to it: Canada versus the U.S. in the gold-medal game.

Best after that: Chicago winning its first Stanley Cup since 1961.

Best after that: Philadelphia losing a sixth straight time in trips to the Stanley Cup finals.
