Athlete suspended on HGH test dies
ORRELL, England -- Terry Newton, a former British international rugby league player who became the first athlete to be suspended for testing positive for human growth hormone, has died. He was 31.
Police say officers found Newton dead Sunday at a house in Orrell after receiving a report of concern for his welfare. They say "there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death."
