Early plans for Super Bowl XLVI in Indy

The week's worth of events leading up to Super Bowl XLV were clearly unsettled. The weather was awful. Media day was uneventful. There was no trash talk among the participants, and the biggest story of the week happened at a piano bar.

On game day, Christina Aguilera botched the national anthem and the Black Eyed Peas played host to sensory overload at halftime, leaving some of us scratching our heads afterward.

Fortunately, the game turned out to be exciting.
