STOCK UP

The Dodgers won a playoff series for the first time since 1988. Joe Torre and company knocked out the Cubs, outscoring the Chicago team 20-6 in the three-game sweep. Now Los Angeles meets the Phillies in the NLCS.

Vanderbilt is 5-0 for the first time since 1943 after beating Auburn. Bobby Johnson has done a great coaching job there.

Boston College quarterback Chris Crane completed 34-of-51 passes for 428 yards and two touchdowns; he also ran for three other scores in a win over N.C. State.

Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford threw for 379 yards in a rout of Baylor.

Alabama running back Glen Coffee ran for 215 yards in a win over Kentucky.

Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell became the school's all-time leading passer.

STOCK DOWN

The Cubs were swept by the Dodgers, scoring just six runs in the three losses.

MMA's Kimbo Slice was TKO'd in 14 seconds against an opponent who was not supposed to fight in the main event.

Arizona State fell to 2-3 following a loss to California.

The Lions continue to struggle, getting blown out at home by the Bears.

The Bengals remain winless at 0-5.
