PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jodie Meeks, Kentucky

It doesn't get much better than the show Jodie Meeks put on down in Knoxville. In 39 minutes, Meeks scored a school-record 54 points, hit 15-of-22 field goal attempts, including 10-of-15 trifectas. He made all 14 of his free throw attempts. He grabbed eight rebounds, dished out four assists and had just one turnover. It is special to break the single-game scoring mark held by Dan Issel, arguably the number one player to ever wear that Wildcats uniform.

COACH OF THE WEEK: Rick Pitino, Louisville

My friends, Rick Pitino wins most of the big games he coaches. So it should not come as a surprise that his Cardinals knocked off No. 1 Pittsburgh. Louisville also scored a big victory over Notre Dame earlier in the week.

TEAM OF THE WEEK: Wake Forest

The Demon Deacons advanced to 16-0, their best start in school history. Wake Forest won impressively at Boston College and then won the battle of unbeatens, getting past Clemson, 78-68. Think about what this team has done recently -- won at BYU, beat North Carolina and now these two results. There is no doubt that Dino Gaudio's team is a legitimate contender for the Final Four.

SHOCK OF THE WEEK: Colorado State over UNLV

Colorado State ended a 19-game regular-season conference losing streak with a 71-69 victory over UNLV. The Rams entered the game with a 5-11 record while the Runnin' Rebels came in at 13-3. It was upset city, baby as Lon Kruger's team was disappointed.

DIAPER DANDY OF THE WEEK: Seth Curry, Liberty

He scored 35 points in 36 minutes as the Flames snapped VMI's 10-game win streak, 91-80. Curry hit 10-of-15 field goals (including four-of-six trifectas) while nailing all 11 free throw attempts. Curry also scored 15 points in a win over Coastal Carolina earlier in the week.
