The organizers of the Indy 500 gave me a very special weekend. It was one of the greatest thrills ever being in the pace car, going around the track at 120 MPH with 300,000 fans screaming!

The San Diego Padres have won nine straight games.

Major League Baseball and Fox moved the World Series start times up. It is much better to start earlier so that people on the East coast can watch the games.

The Los Angeles Clippers won the draft lottery, also known as the Blake Griffin sweepstakes.

Colorado Rockies first baseman Todd Helton collected his 2000th career hit.

The Chicago Cubs have dropped seven straight games.

The Toronto Blue Jays have lost six in a row.

The Carolina Hurricanes are down 3-0 to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Former quarterback Ryan Leaf was indicted on drug charges.

Kentucky defensive end Jeremy Jarmon was ruled ineligible after failing a drug test.
