Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin had the game of his career, totaling 250 receiving yards while scoring the winning touchdown over Kansas City.

Denver remained unbeaten with a big overtime win over New England.

The Dodgers swept the Cardinals. Joe Torre's team was able to get wins when St. Louis pitched dynamic duo Chris Carpenter and Adam Wainwright.

Alabama's defense was dominant in a 22-3 win at Mississippi.
