The NBA and its fans have to be thrilled with the match-up of Lakers-Celtics in the finals. It is the greatest rivalry in the sport, with the likes of Russell-Wilt, Magic-Bird and the star power of this showdown shining.

Think about it ... the names that will be battling for the championship: Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, Ron Artest, Lamar Odom, and don't forget Pau Gasol.

These two cities will be electric. Boston was written off before the playoffs, but Doc Rivers has done an incredible job to prove the naysayers wrong.

Bryant has proven he can be part of a team that can win. A lot of people felt that when Shaquille O'Neal left Los Angeles, the Lakers were in trouble. Kobe has proven those critics wrong. He can carry the club, and he wants the ball in his hands in late-game situations.

Kobe was incredible in the fourth quarter of Game 6 against the Suns. He made big shot after big shot.

When all is said and done, Kobe and Gasol will be the difference makers. Phil Jackson gets another championship as the Lakers win it all in six games.
