TEAM OF THE WEEK: Texas
The Longhorns got a pair of key Big 12 wins. First, Texas blew out Texas A&M behind Jordan Hamilton's 27 points. Then Rick Barnes' team rallied from a 15-point first half deficit to snap Kansas' 69-game homecourt win streak.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ben Hansbrough, Notre Dame
He had 28 points in a big win over Marquette. Hansbrough also contributed 13 points in a victory over Cincinnati.

COACH OF THE WEEK: Jim Calhoun, Connecticut
The Huskies were picked 10th in the Big East preseason poll. Last week, Connecticut added to its impressive resume by beating Villanova and Tennessee. Add those to earlier victories over Kentucky, Texas and Michigan State and Calhoun has to be smiling.

SHOCK OF THE WEEK: Providence over Louisville
The Friars entered the game 0-6 in the Big East and 11-8 overall. Louisville came in 4-1 in the league and 15-3 overall. The Cardinals left with the L, baby!

DIAPER DANDY OF THE WEEK: Jared Sullinger, Ohio State.
He had 27 points and 16 rebounds playing all 40 minutes in a big win at Illinois.
