TWO GOALS AND TEN SHOTS FOR OTTAWA DEFENSEMAN

From Elias: Defenseman Erik Karlsson scored both Ottawa goals in the Senators' 2-1 road win at Florida and he also had ten shots on goal. Karlsson is the first NHL defenseman to record at least two goals and ten shots on goal in the same game since Nov. 18, 2003, when Ed Jovanovski, then playing for the Canucks, scored a pair of goals and had ten shots in a game against the Canadiens. Karlsson is the first defenseman in Senators history to do that.
