"You have an open canvas, really. If you can picture yourself doing something, then you can design a ramp to do it. Ramp design is how skateboarding progresses. Even a regular vert ramp has seen so much progression. Add a corner here, a hip there. Or maybe mimic a backyard pool and connect two categories: take handrails from street skating, add them to a vert ramp and you're looking at that ramp from a completely different angle. If I designed motocross courses, I would push those guys. I'd add more quarterpipes and wall rides, put in a few straight jumps, side jumps and bowled corners to carve around. I'd build a huge round bowl so the riders wouldn't have to turn around on flat ground. I'd push 'em hard."
