It's official: Viking Nation has indigestion from one too many of the Metrodome's $3 hot dogs (tied for cheapest in the league). No wonder they're so cranky. After coach Brad Childress led Minnesota to the franchise's first postseason appearance since 2004, the Purple People thanked the former Eagles OC by naming him the third-worst at his job in the NFL. Which seems hardly fair, considering Childress parlayed a pair of unproductive QBs -- inconsistent youngster Tarvaris Jackson and tired vet Gus Frerotte -- and got the Vikes into the postseason for the first time in four years. Whatever, thanks to the acquisition of Sage Rosenfels to compliment the league's best running back (Adrian Peterson) and D-line, fans think they finally have a winning formula. Which won't stop them from griping about the Metrodome, rated the sixth-worst venue in all of pro sports for its uncomfortable seats and lack of on-site parking. Owner Zygi Wilf is pushing hard for a new home after the 2011 season. If he doesn't get it, and with the Vikes dead last in revenue the past two seasons ($195M in 2007), all that may be left is the dreaded R-word: relocation. "The writing might not be on the wall yet, but they have the pen in hand," writes one nervous fan. Fingers -- not to mention horns -- are crossed that Wilf & Co. can prevent a Viking funeral.
