5. U.S. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson told both sides in the NFL labor dispute Wednesday that it could take "a couple of weeks" for her to rule on the players' request to lift the lockout imposed by owners and let them get back to the job. Jay, what's your reaction?

8. LeBron James bought a minority stake in England's Liverpool soccer club. As part of the deal, Fenway Sports Group, which includes Red Sox owner John Henry and veteran Hollywood producer Tom Werner, partnered with James's sports-marketing firm, LRMR Branding & Marketing to become the exclusive world-wide representative for James. Also, LeBron's new original animated Web series, "The LeBrons" premiered yesterday. Will all of this be a distraction for James?

9. The Heat lost to Milwaukee at home 90-85 without D-Wade in the line- up. LeBron had 29 points and Chris Bosh added 18 for the Heat, who had no one else reach double figures. Reaction?

10. Dwight Howard is poised to serve another one-game suspension after picking up his NBA-high 18th technical foul of the season. The reason was a rare 10-second violation on a free throw attempt. Was calling the violation fair or foul?
